Department of Mathematics

The Department was founded in 1845. It runs undergraduate programmes in Mathematics, in Computing and in Financial Mathematics. It runs masters programmes in Mathematics and in Communication Systems Theory, and has a number of PhD students. Details of these programmes can be found on the page for prospective students.

The Department carries out research in Algebra, Analysis, Geometry/Topology, and Statistics. Details are given on the Department's research page.
