LECTURESHIP (Fixed Term) Mathematics (2 year contract)
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for this 2 year contract post within the Department of Mathematics in relation to the M.Sc. in COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS.
This post arises due to the commencement of a masters degree in Communication Systems. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates. The successful candidate will be required to have relevant experience and to lecture and perform other duties relating to three or more of the following areas:
Networking and Traffic Control, Communications and Information Theory, Cryptology and Security, Computer Graphics , Neural Networks.
LECTURESHIP (FIXED TERM ) in MATHEMATICS (1 year contracts) - 2 POSTS
Applicants are invited for two fixed-term lecturing positions, each of one year's duration. The successful candidates will contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, undertake relevant administrative duties and contribute to the research profile of the Department. Current interests of the Department include Algebra, Analysis, Geometry, Topology and Statistics. Further information on the Department may be found at http://www.maths.nuigalway.ie. Candidates should hold a PhD and some teaching at University level would be an advantage.
Salary for these appointments will be within the range €29,267.44 - €41,506.32
