Two Bish oarsmen also rowed in the Home Internationals in Scotland.
The Irish Rowing Championships were held from Fri. 17th July to Sun. 19th July. The Bish came third in the under-18 8+'s and second in the under-18 4+'s. Although very confident going into the weekend, Bish were faced with an amazingly strong Skibbereen crew, and just couldn't get the championships.
The Bish were at Henley Royal Regatta from 28th June until 6th July. This was the first time a Bish crew ever entered at Henley. Unfortunately Bish were drawn against, seeded crew, Eton College in the first round. After a very good race Bish lost by only 2.5 lengths.
