  • Irish National Championships
  • Henley Royal RegattaBish race, seeded, Eton College in first round. After a brilliant race Eton win by 2.5 lengths.
  • Galway Regatta. An excellent day for the club. We won: J18 8+'s, J18b 4+'s, J16 8+'s and J15 4+'s. Second in: J18 4+'s and J15 4+'s. Third in: S1 8+'s.
  • Athlone Regatta. The J18 4+ won. The club came second in J16 8+'s and J15 8+'s. A mixed up J18 8+ didn't qualify for final.
  • Northwich Regatta. The club won: MS2 8+'s and MS4 8+'s on the Sunday and MS1 4+'s, MS2 8+'s, MNov 4+'s and MJnr 4+'s on the Monday.
  • British National Schools Championships. The club did extremely well coming 2nd in First Eights, 3rd in Junior 16B Eights and reaching the semi-finals of the Championship Coxed Fours.
  • Portora Royal Regatta. An excellent days racing for the entire club. We won the J18 8+'s and 4+'s and the J16 8+'s and 4+'s. Only the J18 2- lost and that was due to a broken rudder.
  • Limerick Regatta. Very good performance. J18 B 8+ won, J16 8+ came second, J16 4+ got knocked out in heat and the two J15 8+'s came second and third.
  • Galway Head of the River. Excellent results. Bish won J18 8+'s, came second in J18 4+'s. All other crews did very well. Won Best Junior Club Overall at the Head.
  • Erne Head. Bish raced a J18 8+ and a J16 8+. The J18's came second in their grade and the J16's won their grade.
  • New Ross Marathon. Bish entered 2x J18 8+'s. The first 8+ came first in the junior section and second overall. The second 8+ came seventh overall.
  • 1997 St. Michael's Head.
